The Enormous Crocodile is planning what to have for his lunch. He's the greediest croc in the whole river, and he wants to eat something juicy and delicious. But what can the greedy grumptious brute guzzle up? Beware! He's looking for someone to feast upon... someone who looks a lot like YOU!
Meet the characters
The Enormous Crocodile
The Enormous Crocodile lives in the biggest, muddiest river in Africa, and he is just about the most beastly (and most enormous) crocodile there. He has “secret plans and clever tricks” to eat every creature in the jungle, but his favourite food of all is a yummy-tasting child.
The Notsobig One
While the Enormous Crocodile is on the lookout for a juicy child to eat, the Notsobig One prefers to stick to fish, saying that children are tough and chewy.
Roly-Poly Bird
A magnificent bird who lives in the African jungle - with marvellous coloured feathers - the Roly-Poly Bird is clever and quick, helping to foil the Enormous Crocodile’s secret plans and clever tricks. Roly-Poly likes to travel, speaks a lot of languages, and is a truly majestic sight.
Muggle-Wump
Muggle-Wump is a generous monkey, offering the Enormous Crocodile some of his favourite nuts - although this is mostly to avoid being gobbled up as a tasty snack himself.
Trunky
It’s up to Trunky and his friends to stop the Enormous Crocodile from carrying out his secret plans and clever tricks. Luckily, Trunky has an idea to help get rid of him forever…
Humpy-Rumpy
Humpy-Rumpy lives on the riverbank, and tries his best to persuade the Enormous Crocodile not to eat nearby children, foiling his plan to disguise himself as a nearby tree.
