We have been working in partnership with our friends at Twinkl to bring over two hundred new Roald Dahl resources to our fans.

They are all inspired by your favourite Roald Dahl stories and characters, with iconic illustrations by Quentin Blake, and are tailored to school curriculums.

What’s more, they are one-hundred percent free to download!

With World Book Day just around the corner, we wanted to make it easy to find exactly what you need to celebrate the bookiest of days. Here’s what’s on offer over on Twinkl…

Whether your little reader needs a helping hand or simply wants more practice to become a genius like Matilda, you can find plenty of tools on Twinkl inspired by the Roald Dahl stories.

We recommend trying the comprehension resources and the sixty-second reads – indulge in an extract from a Roald Dahl book and answer questions to better understand the text. These are perfect if you’re celebrating World Book Day!

Resources to unlock creativity:

If there’s one thing Roald Dahl books are packed full of, it’s imagination, invention and creativity. To get the creative juices flowing, you could try inventing a new sweet inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, building a minibeast hotel inspired by James and the Giant Peach, or practicing creative writing prompted by our short burst writing packs.

Short resources for when you need something light:

We all need a little break from learning every now and then, so if you’re looking for quick fun activities you can download character colouring sheets, word searches and bookmark design worksheets.
